Le fil des jours, c’est donc le titre du tableau dont je vais vous parler aujourd’hui. Je vais aussi tenter de vous en donner le sens.

Je vous avais promis il y a plus d’un mois de vous donner l’explication du tableau, mais surtout de vous le montrer en entier.

Alors, sans plus attendre, voici à quoi ressemble le tableau en entier.

Le Fil des Jours

Ce tableau sera d’ailleurs exposé à Sin-le-Noble du 13 Octobre au 10 Novembre 2018 à la MJC – Maison des Arts. Il s’agit d’une exposition collective sur le thème Connexion[s] / Sans trop d’illusions.
Le thème devrait donc déjà vous donner des pistes de réflexions sur la signification de ce tableau.

Je ne vais pas vous en écrire une tartine non plus, puisqu’il est assez simple de comprendre le tableau avec le thème.

L’idée est de dire qu’il est impossible ou presque d’atteindre un état de sérénité et de calme (propre aux moines par exemple). C’est pourquoi un moine trône sur une pile de rochers difficile à escalader, même avec des échelles. Et ceux qui restent au sol, qui ne peuvent évoluer spirituellement, sont condamner à errer.

Bien sûr, il y a quelques détails cachés dans le tableau, des messages moins simples à voir. Mais, ceux-là, je vous laisse les chercher seul.

In recognition of this commitment, the Florence Biennale has been included in the program « Dialogue between civilizations » by the United Nations in 2001, and has obtained the patronage of the Italian National Commission for UNESCO in 2017.

    Within the framework of the Florence Biennale, each participating artist competes for the “Lorenzo il Magnifico” Awards, conferred by our International Jury to the best exhibiting artists for their works on show, as well as for several Artist Residencies and other Special Awards. Furthermore, the “Lorenzo il Magnifico” Lifetime Achievement Awards are conferred to individuals and/or organisations who have reached pinnacles of artistic achievement and/or stood out for their contribution to culture: Marina Abramović, David Hockney, Christo & Jeanne-Claude, Gilbert & George, Anish Kapoor, El Anatsui are among the recipients in the past editions.

    The XIIth Florence Biennale, which will take place at the historical Fortezza da Basso, from 18 to 27 October 2019, will engage participating artists and visitors in a rich programme of artistic and cultural activities. Aside from the main exhibition, there will be collateral events, workshops, conferences, and lectures relating to the new edition’s theme of the new edition, which is related to the 500th Anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s death: Ars et Ingenium – Toward Leonardo da Vinci’s Legacy of Similitude and Invention.

    Each participating artist will have a dedicated page in the Official Catalogue of the XIIth Florence Biennale and will compete for the « Lorenzo il Magnifico » Award as well as for Artist Residencies and other Special Awards.
